Got a Kid obsessed with Rescue Bots Transformers? I know what you mean! See all the details for my son’s Rescue Bots Party below.
Since my son owns a lot of the Rescue Bots Toys, it was so easy to create his party decorations around it.
A little DIY, some Amazon orders, and this Rescue Bots Transformers Birthday Party easily came to life.
Below I’ll share all the items I used and how you can create your own version of this party theme.
Rescue Bots Party Decorations
As mentioned above, my son owns quite a bit of Rescue Bot Toys which easily turns into party decor.
There’s a huge assortment of Rescue Bot toys on Amazon to pick from if you need any additional Autobots.
I made buildings out of Amazon and cereal boxes I saved a few months prior. I spray-painted them gray and cut windows out of black cardstock paper and glued them to the boxes.
Voila – City Buildings are complete! They were the perfect addition to the cake table.
A silver tablecloth and striped table runner also added more depth and character to the table.
Other accessories used:
Table Risers – I ordered two sets of these Acrylic risers plus this additional one.
Making a Rescue Bots Party Backdrop
Want an easy backdrop? Just grab your wrapping paper of choice! I decided on this striped backdrop but I would recommend something less busy and preferably matte.
Or you can buy a “real backdrop” but you’ll need to also purchase a backdrop stand. I just tapped my paper to the wall.
Here’s the Happy Birthday Banner I used and large number helium balloon.
Fun Party Sweets
These were super fun to make and my son loved having them, I purchased these plastic robot molds to pour the chocolate in and they were a perfect way to tie into the Rescue Bots party theme.
Gumballs in the Rescue Bots main colors were also added into clear containers. I also added some chocolate kisses in red and green (this was especially easy to purchase around Christmas time) but you can buy them in bulk online.
We also made traditional Brazilian Brigadeiros and had tiny boxes with gears handmade for them, you can easily make these with a Cricut or Silhouette machine.
Rescue Bots Cake
His cake was custom-ordered with a metallic finish and a Rescue Bot toy as a cake topper.
For the cake stand – I found this vintage black box with a drawer that worked perfectly.
Gift Favor stand
Simple striped gift bags I found at a local party store were given a personalized look with a Cricut machine tags for an added fun look.
Small letter board and a large photo of your child and bam! It’s complete.
One tip I have for DIY parties is to buy things you’ll use repeatedly. Since I create a lot of my son’s parties having certain accessories on hand helps when the following year comes around.
For example, the “cake stand” was repurposed as a computer stand for my office with an added bonus of a storage drawer.
Tablecloths and runners are great for daily use. If you use my wrapping paper as a backdrop idea, you can just roll them back up for use for their original purpose.
Of course, this isn’t limited to just birthday parties, I use a lot of these accessories for holiday parties as well.
It’s a win-win if you love to throw a good party now and again.
Thanks for stopping in and checking out this Rescue Bots party idea! I hope I cleared every aspect of this party for you.
