Loved how Our Nature Inspired Christmas tree came out. Every year I have a new themed Christmas and this year wasn’t any different.
Which team are you? Every year it’s the same ornaments and color schemes or do you mix them up?
Ever since I became my own person i.e. moved out of my parents home I’ve had a different color scheme. I love doing it that way.
Christmas is my favorite holiday and it just makes sense for me and my family. Totally okay if that’s not your cup of tea.
This year I decided on using greens, ivory, and natural colored fabrics. Because we have a flocked Christmas tree it totally works using green.
Christmas Tree Ornament Choices
We chose to stick to a neutral color scheme for a rustic Christmas decor but with a very classy look.
Red and burgundy would also look beautiful in this but I decided to stick with green as the main color.
These clear ornaments with pine cones were too cute to pass up, as well as the beautiful snow globe ornament. (That was my favorite)
The ivory ornaments with subtle details reminded me of snowballs – so pretty and sophisticated, it really elevated the look of our Christmas Tree Decor.
Ribbons were made out of jute and another with some small gold details. Preferably with a metal wire on the sides for better pliability.

Here’s a little ribbon placement tip:
when putting on ribbons on a Christmas tree. Cut them about your arms-length and add them around your tree.
Ribbons should be placed after lights and before ornaments!
For a whimsical and childlike look, we added a small train courtesy of our 6-year-old son that really wanted it. Christmas can’t all be grown up with a child around.
We chose a train without lots of colorful features which paired well with this year’s Christmas Colors and for years to come (if it lasts). We love making new Christmas Traditions!
Last but not least:
Here’s a little Instagram reel I created which came out lovely – Hope you’ll check it out and consider following me if you’re active on Instagram.
