Get ready to get your socks knocked off with this DELICIOUS Creamy Leek and Potato Gratin. Basically it’s a fancy mashed potato you’ll be serving again and again.
Every family gathering I’m asked to make this creamy leek and potato gratin dish.
Everyone loves it, even my onion hating brother (he does pick a bit at it) but overall he enjoys it too.
The gratin part is just the crunchy topping the Panko breadcrumbs and cheese make! It’s a killer combination and pairs well with the velvety consistency of the mashed potatoes and creamy leek and shallot mixture.
I make a semi-homemade version by using a ready made mashed potato – because really the star of the show is the topping.
But that’s entirely up to you, you can very well make your own mashed potatoes and also Alfredo sauce.
I like to use a cheesy Alfredo sauce but a regular bechamel sauce works as well.
Let’s get this dish started, here’s what you’ll need for this yummy Leek and Potato Gratin Recipe.
Enjoy!
