With Thanksgiving coming in between Halloween and Christmas, some people skip Thanksgiving decor altogether and just decorate for Christmas.
Although, we usually put up our tree November 1st, we do keep our fall decorations up until Thanksgiving is over.
Here’s our current Thanksgiving Tablescape, it’s simple and full of cute pumpkins, but since it has a short run we don’t go all out.
I’m going to show you a few spots in our home that are decorated with the Fall/Thanksgiving theme.
Our Thanksgiving Table Centerpiece
Our Thanksgiving centerpiece was made with Hobby Lobby Braided Pumpkins (we purchased them last year, they’re no longer in stock).
I found a similar braided pumpkin here!
In order to create the look, you’ll need to get two large pumpkins.
The bottom pumpkin should be slightly bigger than the top pumpkin.
Next, add fall artificial floral picks of your choice: Sunflowers, berries, and leaves are the perfect autumn combination!
Carefully arrange and bend the picks to suit your pumpkin size!
Thanksgiving Table Setting
We added a “Give Thanks” table runner, plus fall themed napkins on top of round orange plates. Tiny pumpkins get a special spot on top of napkins for a festive & cohesive fall look.
Around the house we have other fall decorations, which all include mini pumpkin pieces, fall leaves and pumpkin shaped candles.
We’re not lighting our candles inside but if you’d like – using battery operated tiny pumpkins would be really cute for ambiance at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
Pine-cone shaped candles would also work well!
I have a wonderful Cranberry Sparkling Rose cocktail that would pair so well with your holiday meals! Check out the recipe!!!
I purchased a lot of these fall decorations pieces at Hobby Lobby, they always change their merchandise, I’m linking similar items from Amazon below!
How do you decorate for the Thanksgiving Holiday? Do you skip it and do Christmas decorations instead?
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a fabulous holiday!
