Gift Guide For 3 to 6 year-olds
Yay! The most awaited gift guide is here! I’ve been really putting this off for lack of time. The holiday season is super crazy all around. Work, Blog, Home balance is non-existent. Balancing too many plates all at once has never been a good thing.
To make things easier on your end I’ve compiled a list of gifts that are perfect for those pre-schoolers or early learners in our lives. My son is one and I have several nephews and nieces that are in the same age range so I have all bases covered and their Santa List!
I like to choose gifts that have a purpose and promote open-ended play where what they can create or do is dependent solely on how far their imagination can take them.

Check out my favorite gift ideas for 3 to 6 year-olds!
- Broom Cleaning Set – Gotta get them while they’re young. Most kids like helping out, and having their own cleaning supplies turns it into a game and creates a sense of pride in those little kids. It’s a win-win.
- Dyson Toy Vacuum – Another cleaning toy! I sense a trend here. Why not get a vacuum that actually functions? I don’t know about your kiddo but mine insists on using the vacuum when I’m cleaning, which only means we have to go over the entire house twice. But if he had his own, I could finish cleaning faster and he’d be happy.
- Magnet Building Tiles – We own one of their 60 piece sets and love them, this year we’re actually adding this 100 piece set to build even bigger! This is one of the toys I actually enjoy playing along with. We also own the car set and this stabilizer board to prop our creations on top of.
- Walkie Talkies – My son owns a pair of walkie-talkies already but we’ll be updating his current one to this more potent one! He loves playing with walkie-talkies around the house. It’s especially fun with siblings. (Basically, it’s a two in one gift right?) This set comes in three colors: Blue, green, and pink.
- Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex Figure – Dinosaurs are a big thing in our household and the collection has been increasing. Anybody watched and re-watched Dino Dan and Dino Dana? I’m not complaining, I use to love dinos as a child too.
- L.O.L Surprise – I don’t know what kids see in these but it’s all the rage.
- Jurassic World Lego Set – Nico is getting this one for Christmas. We have a lot of Lego sets but they just keep piling up. If you don’t want to get stuck building a Lego set for hours and they are too little, I suggest getting the Lego Juniors sets. They have some pre-built pieces inside. Trust me on this! My brother will be getting him this bigger set (he’ll be responsible for helping him build it…. Not me!)
- Fold & Go Trampoline – I’d like to get Nico this but I have to figure out where we’d put it. Although it does fold, I’m still hesitant. If you have a playroom or extra space this would be great to have to help those kiddos burn some energy!
- Peg Perego John Deere Tractor – My son has had his tractor since he was 2 years old and rides it like a champ. I swear he drives better than some adults, all thanks to this. There’s an option on the gear to make it go slow or faster.
- Plasma Car – Another item my son received for Christmas. He absolutely loves playing on this.
- Soft Foam Sword – This is foam sword is perfect for little children that aren’t aware of how strong they can be. Here’s another option- it comes as a set.
-
Pretend and Play Calculator Cash Register – We own a similar one by the same brand and highly recommend it. It’s great for sharpening those math skills as it comes with a functioning calculator.
-
High-Speed Racing Car – The one we’re getting may not arrive in time for Christmas so I linked a similar one that will here.
- Folding Kick Scooter – He’ll be getting this one also, but since he’s a January baby he’ll be getting it as a birthday gift instead. Available in Blue or Pink.
I do hope you found this kid’s gift guide helpful! Let me know if you shop for any of these items! Again, you can use the links above or you can shop from the widget below.
