When you think of ways to staying hydrated your default is most likely plain water, and you wouldn’t be wrong. You’re probably thinking BORING yes I know, but it’s something we have to talk about mama.Taking care of ourselves is sometimes an overlooked task, especially when we become moms.
As for me, being a work at home mom I tend to drink a lot less water when I’m home then when I’m out. We all know staying hydrated is important, just like exercising and staying away from fried foods (although I have a hard time saying no to that).
I’m going to share easy ways you boost and keep your body hydrated without cringing at the sight of another water bottle.
3 Simple ways to boost & Keep your Body Hydrated
-
Get a large bottle of water and track it!
Having an ultimate goal for the end of the day is key to hydrating your body. I suggest filling a large bottle with lots of water with alerts written on them for you to chug. The recommend amount of water your body needs is debatable and depends on how active you are. If you maintain an active lifestyle you’ll need to replace the water you lose when you sweat.
-
Munch on Fruits & Veggies
Want to boost hydration, eat your fruits and veggies as your mama has always said. Vegetables and Fruits have a high water content. Did you know strawberries are 92% water? That definitely counts towards your daily hydration goal. So Much on!

Excellent tips! I also seem to drink less water at home. I’m not a huge fan of flavored water, but having a straw water bottle definitely helps me drink more water; especially with having a baby in one hand all the time. 😃

This is my first time hearing of these water drops. I am trying to drink more water (less Diet Coke, coffee, and wine…). Maybe these will help?!

These tips are really great. I drink for detox water I read on Internet and this helps me retail my glow and weight balance as well. In one litre water I add slices of cucumber, slices of lime and few leaves of mint.

Definitely agree with using a larger bottle to help you see your “big picture” water goal for the day—that always inspires me to drink more of it! These drops look yummy. That lemon lime flavor is calling my name during this summer heatwave we are having down here in Georgia. 🙂
