Favorite YouTube Channels for Fitness at Home
Hey Lovelies♥
With summer just around the corner I’ve stepped up my work out game. I was never a gym person or a workout person in general but I was always active and remained stick thin until I reached my mid 20’s. I would eat any and everything I wanted. Yea… I hate me too. But that is DEFINITELY not the case today. Whatever food I think of already adds calories to my body, especially my inner & outer thighs and mid-section. I’m sure I’m not alone in this! After baby, things aren’t the same. Unless you’re a supermodel, then you don’t count.
My 33rd birthday is coming up in a few short weeks and I’m determined to shed 8 pounds till then. I have however already lost 3 of those pounds, so I need 5 more pounds to reach my goal for my birthday. I’ve always liked reading about different workouts even when I never even worked out. I used to subscribe to Shape Magazine long long ago. I have no idea what for because I really just read it. But when I do workout today (which isn’t very often) I do have some go to workouts from memory because of it. Thanks Shape Magazine.
Today I’ll share with you my Top 4 Go-to YouTube Channels for a complete at home work out.
1. FITNESS BLENDER
This one is my absolute favorite, they have over 3 million subscribers on YouTube. They are a husband and wife duo and have so many different workout videos, I love working out with Kelli. She wasn’t always the fit woman she is today, she has struggled with weight and eating disorders. If you browse their video uploads you will find a workout you can do and choose the intensity depending on the day.
Their workouts are very well put together and easy to follow along. This channel is for any and all fitness levels, if you are looking for an advanced workout they have plenty to choose from. When I want to intensify my workouts I choose one of their HIIT workouts. Some of their videos also include a warm-up and cool-down, which I like so I don’t have to go digging for one.
2. BLOGILATES
Cassey has some great Pilates exercise and at a lot of targeted areas workouts. Her Pilates for beginners videos are how I started getting into Pilates. They are also easy to follow and she has a super bubbly personality. She talks throughout her videos pushing you to work harder with positive affirmations. However I don’t watch her dietary recommendations videos.
3. XHIT DAILY
Xhit hasn’t posted a video in a few months, what gives? But they do have some great videos if you want to get a quick workout in. I do these sometimes when I don’t want to feel guilty I haven’t worked out. Hey, at least I moved for a little bit.
4. YOGA WITH ADRIANE
Last but not least, Adriane posts frequently and when I don’t feel like jumping up and down or moving too much I choose one of her yoga videos. She also has some great beginners video (which are the ones I use) I’m definitely not a yogi but doing yoga makes me feel good and more centered.
Mommy Tip: Some might not be okay with this but the way I found I could exercise while my son is up and not try to jump on me while I’m working out is to hand him an iPad and let him go crazy until I am finished. Might not be an option for you but I’ve found this works best for me.
I love finding new easy exercise routines to follow, and I hope that you get to check some of these channels out and choose one or a few that is just right for you.
