Fall Festival
Hi and Welcome…
Happy Monday everyone! Are you ready to tackle on the week? I’m working on my to-do list today. I love Mondays for that reason. I even wrote a post dedicated to Mondays.
We had a lovely time at a local fall festival this Sunday. It’s held on a family farm called Bedner’s in Boyton Beach, FL. Although we don’t really get to enjoy fall weather in south Florida we try to do “fall” things with the family. It was a gorgeous day though, the temperature did go down a little bit (86F) I know, that is still hot but it rained in the afternoon which helped cool us down, at least for an hour or so. They have several food trucks (BBQ, Italian, Mexican and a gourmet french fry one) along with some hot dog, lemonade, sweet tea, corn, cider doughnuts, popcorn and cupcakes.
I missed out on the corn!! I thought I would get it by the time we were going to leave and they were SOLD OUT! I was so bummed, I’m a corn fanatic and wanted to save the best for last. Oh well! Next time.
They also have hay rides, bounce houses, pony rides and a CAMEL too. If you live around the area or will be visiting south Florida during the fall/winter time, I highly recommend you go. They’ll be having events every weekend.
Here are some photos from our little outing::
