How to Like Mondays
I know! The dreaded Monday! Everyone has to be back at work (which most people also hate). Commuting, not making enough money or whatever the reason it may be. We all struggle with something. ALL OF US! It might look pretty on Facebook or on Instagram but those are mostly highlights.
And sometimes most of the time they are staged! Not to be cliche but life is full of ups and downs. We all have battles we are facing. Some might be bigger than others, but sometimes something that’s bigger to you, might be smaller to someone else. We all struggle differently.
But I’ve learned to love Mondays and take it head on. Writing this blog has been my biggest motivator to “GET THINGS DONE”. Although I may not always accomplish everything I set out to do or the way I want it done but I do it. I do what I can, when I can.
Why I love Mondays as a stay-at-home mom?
How to Like Mondays
Laundry:
I’m not kidding… Life is entirely based on following a routine. This can get pretty boring, pretty quickly. So I switch things up from time to time. But following a routine doesn’t have to be a bad thing. I love that I know what I will be doing today. You know what that fun thing is? LAUNDRY. I’m excited about it too. I’ll get to wash my family’s clothes, put them away nice & clean. Everything will be organized and that in turn makes me a happy person. Try living in a place where things are disorganized all the time, it’s chaotic. You will feel down. Trust me.
Pajamas:
I don’t have to put on clothes! Ha!
Lists:
Oh how I love me some lists. I jot down a lot of things.. even something minuscule as how much water I SHOULD drink today. I’m a firm believer of organization. You can a lot done when you know exactly what you want out of your day.
Do-over:
Everything I missed on a previous list, I can tackle it this week if I want to, or not. It’s my life. I can start anything I want today. I can take a cooking class, I can start learning a new language, I can clean the house or whatever floats my boat. The point is… You can. You can do anything. Everything!
➜ You should love Mondays too, it kinda has a “New Year’s Resolution” feel to it if you think about it. All the mistakes of last week can be erased and you can start again. Heck, you can do that on ANY day.
Failing at something today, doesn’t mean we will fail at it tomorrow or the next day. Take it one day at a time, one task at a time. Problem solve one issue at a time. Make a list of things you need to get done, things you want to do and prioritize them.
It’s fun checking them out one by one!!! So don’t be down that it’s Monday! Cheer up! Get Sh*t done!!!!!!!!!!
If this doesn’t get to you, check out this Monday Motivation Video – disclaimer – there is some profanity.

Monday is the day I do the most blogging stuff so I'm always motivated to have a post up on Sunday night. Last night I barely made it. However, I have to admit, Fridays and Saturdays are my favorite.
