Getting out of the house with a newborn is no easy feat.
Expect to be late.
You’ve given the baby a bath, fed him, he seems content? Good… Now it’s time for him to explode out of his pants, spit up all over you and himself.
Got a doctor’s appointment? You wanna show up with a clean baby right?
Have the doc tell you what a great job you’re doing…baby will most likely arrive with poop in his diaper. They like to do things when they’re in the car.
There’s never just a quick trip anywhere. I have left the house alone 3 times people…
That’s 3 times in 2 months. Not because I didn’t want to… I have wanted to plenty of times but it just takes too much effort. Gotta leave him fed, clean, and rested. Pack all of his things, get the stroller and bag in the car. Place kid in the car seat, but this has to all come together without a hitch.
But sometimes the spit-up happens. So now you gotta change him. Sometimes he didn’t sleep so now he’s cranky and crying while you’re trying to get everything done, so you feel bad and pick him up instead.
And there’s also YOU! You gotta shower, change, eat… You have a limited amount of time to get all of this prepared.
By the time you’re done and out the door. It’s time to do it all over again. So my advice is to stay home if you can. The hassle is just not worth it. Pick your battles.

Ser mãe é um grande desafio … E o grande premio é ouvir seu filho falar mamãe e ver seu crescimento diário …. Palavras de uma mulher sem filhos , mas que ama crianças … Abraços
